On the page, “Coffee Before Death” describes a day in the life of the Grim Reaper. Yet in our minds, we don’t see Death as the one seeking the refuge of home after a difficult day at the office. Instead we see ourselves. We see the Everyman.
And like the Everyman, we soon find out that Death’s daily duties do not end when he racks his scythe for the night and puts on his slippers. Behind Death’s front door, work follows him as closely as his gargoyles…and makes just as much of a mess. Until he addresses these matters, his spiked cappuccino, cooling fast on his skull and crossbones footstool, will have to wait. Burgundy velvet drapes may shield the outside world from view, but they have not made his most ancient of responsibilities disappear.

Hello friend.
It’s cold outside and you look like you could do with a seat. Why not pull up a chair by the fireside and rest your weary bones? If you’ve got time, and don’t mind sharing space with a seasoned storyteller like me, I’ve got a tale or two to tell.
You will. Grand.
Then let me begin…
Little Voices is a collection of twelve short stories where the characters take us on a magical, occasionally dark, often humorous, journey through the realms of fantasy.
Dive into the pages of your imagination and discover the secret of the Lighthouse. Jump into the heat of battle as a gang of bloodthirsty pirates get more than they bargained for when they Hoist the Flag. Sit down with the storyteller as he spins a tale of a Grave Mistake. And who is the mysterious November Man?
Enjoy all this and more when you jump into the pages, meet the characters, and hear their Little Voices.
